Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. Bea has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, also known as Aisling "Bea" is a famous Irish writer and actor. She was born on March 16th 1984. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea started her stand-up comic in the year 2011. After 2012 she had been appearing in sketch comedy shows, sitcoms, and other similar programs. After her victory during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel show. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats team as well as a participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Parents include Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. She was in 2012 the second female to be awarded the So You Believe You're Funny award. Her surname honors the memory of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died by suicide at three-years-old. She didn't discover the reason of death until she was 13 years old. In 2017, she published an article in The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also took on the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher, jockey trainer, and an ex-professional jockey. The family was awed by horses, race meetings and the racing industry. Bea was a child an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she didn't want racing as a career. She was more interested in the artistic arts.
