Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist and philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished career in the fields of human rights and international law has won her international recognition. Her clients include several high-profile nation-states, including Armenia and the struggle it has to have the Turkish Government recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged, and later got married with American star George Clooney, instantly making her a household names within pop culture. Before this, she had already been well known in the legal world for her ability to represent clients. Her expertise ranges from social justice issues and human rights to representing multinational companies during negotiations or court cases regarding the regulations of government.
